Additive chemical construction

beneficial effects for road construction and building construction

Renolith
Renolith is a water-solvable, neutral and non-toxic polymer additive for road construction and advance concrete. It is easy to use in combination with soil and normal Portland Cement to create a solid and stable road base with in-situ material or sub base material. Therefore, the costs and time involved can be significant reduced.
The use of Renolith has the following beneficial effects:
  • High flexibility
  • Good tensile and pressure strengths.
  • High modulus of elasticity.
  • Usage of any soils.
  • Low water penetration.
  • Low shrinkage or expansion.
  • No "Die of thirst"-phenomenon.
  • Anti-crack-agent.
  • Heat and freeze stable.
  • Long duration of the road base.
  • Low maintenance.
  • These benefits are based on the four different systems of Renolith:
  • Flexibility System (FS)
  • Water Penetration Protection System (WPPS)
  • Water Supply System (WSS)
  • Cement Poison Protection System (CPPS)
  •           Renolith application
  • Base Course and Foundation.
  • Road Base Course
  • Railway Base Foundation
  • Parking / Container yard
  • Stabilized Back Field
  • Pavement
  • Runway
  • Footpath
  • Summary:
On the pages before we have seen all the beneficial effects for road construction, which will occur, if Renolith will be used. The main problems of road construction like durability, maintenance and costs are now solved. Road construction is now easy and efficient, which is a very good argument for your customers.
A can of 25 kg Renolith, a special water based polymer composition, available from the Renolith Corporation Ltd., was delivered to DOW Europe SA to be evaluated in the cement laboratory there in standard low cement containing sand/cement mortars and sand/soil/cement mortars for road construction and foundation application.
