The Renolith Cement Poison Protection System (CPPS):
The normal way of road construction is to dig out the soil for the road base, and store it anyway. With other words, it is wasted. Instead of this in-situ material, expensive washed and sieved sand has to be mixed with cement and water in a plant and then has to be transported to the construction site. This way of road construction needs a lot of time and of course money for the disposal and the new base materials.
But what about using the in-situ materials?
Unfortunately, soils contain normally a lot of so called cement poisons like salt. These cement poisons are disabling the binding process and therefore the whole concrete fails.
Renolith's CPPS is able to protect the concrete against cement poisons.
Let us take a look on figure 8, which is quite similar to figure 2. Indeed it is the same principle. Because all particels are coated and bonded (remember the FS), the cement poison is coated too. Therefore, it cannot react with the cement, paralysing the binding process of the concrete.
That means, that with Renolith almost every type of in-situ soils can be used to produce a road base.
To draw the conclusion, Renolith is able to take a short cut in the whole production process for roads. Instead of carrying tons of material through the countryside for mixing and disposition, the in-situ material can be conditioned with Renolith within the production process direct on the construction site. The necessary machinery used for this conditioning can vary from high-tech machines to simple agricultural apparatus. The CPPS is the most important system, regarding high efficiency and very low costs using Renolith for road construction
